About OpenDLT
The open-source tooling layer for the Accumulate Protocol. We build SDKs, developer tools, and research projects that make decentralized technology accessible.
Our Mission
OpenDLT exists to lower the barrier to building on the Accumulate Protocol. We believe that great infrastructure deserves great tooling — and that tooling should be open-source, well-documented, and available in every major programming language.
Whether you're a solo developer experimenting with blockchain identity, an enterprise team evaluating decentralized infrastructure, or a researcher exploring new consensus patterns, OpenDLT provides the tools to get you started.
Accumulate Protocol
Accumulate is a Layer-0 blockchain protocol that organizes data around identities rather than accounts. Its unique architecture enables cross-chain interoperability, human-readable addresses, and enterprise-grade key management.
OpenDLT is an independent open-source initiative that builds developer tooling for the Accumulate ecosystem. Our projects are community-driven and MIT-licensed.
Our Values
Principles that guide how we build and collaborate
Open Source First
Every line of code is MIT-licensed and publicly available. We build in the open because transparency builds trust.
Developer Experience
APIs should be intuitive. Docs should be thorough. Error messages should be helpful. We obsess over the details that matter to developers.
Community Driven
Features are prioritized by community need. Contributions are welcomed and reviewed promptly. Everyone has a voice.
How to Contribute
Multiple ways to get involved, regardless of your experience level
